We previously had the l20 which we loved, but unfortunately it developed a fault where it wouldn't extract the water into the dirty water tank, which meant we had to manually empty the water out of the base, so decided it was time to replace after all we had had it for a couple of years. We think it became faulty due to a house move as it worked the day before the move and not the next. (Possibly damaged by the removalists). We absolutely loved the l20 when it was fully working and originally we was going to purchase the l20 again. However just before we pressed buy now we quickly compared other models and came across the l10s ultra heat. We weighed up the differences between the 2 and then sat and pondered which model best suited us. Pros to the l10s is the on board camera, and that it heats up the pads for mopping. Cons was that it didn't detach the mop heads from the robot like the l20 did and also no led lights. In the end we opted for the l10s as we decided that it was easy enough to remove the mop heads ourselves if we needed to when it was to vac our carpet or let the robot vac our carpeted room first with the pads attached and dry and then send back out to do our hard floors to then mop and vac. In the end we think we made the correct decision. The vac is still just as powerful, it does just as good a job as the previous l20 it's just that we had let it vac first and then go back to mop just so that it didn't drip any water off the damp mop pads onto our carpet.which if I'm to be totally honest is not a big issue to us. We have just altered the way in which we now clean our floors. We now let it vac our livingroom, go back to the dock to empty and get the mop heads ready to mop to go back to do the other rooms with hard floors.
Overall we love the dreame robot vac/mops that we have had and in the future we will only ever buy dreame robots. They are great little machines and at very competitive prices in comparison to alternative makes with similar specs. Both robots we have had are well built, robust work exceptionally well and overall we are extremely happy with the quality of both the l10s ultra heat and the l20. We will eventually get the l20 repaired and use upstairs but for now we just decided new home new robot! They are very easy to set up, the app is easy to use and the robot does a great job. The features are very easy to use even for my partner who is a complete technic phobe! We have had other makes and models previously when the robots first came on the market which weren't dreame and they were sent back after a single use as they were useless! So if you are considering the dreame models I would say you won't be disappointed.
This robot vacuum is the very best that is out there. With AI and its intellectual capacity it does the best job ever. Even with my underfloor heating which tends to dry the mops out it keeps going back and cleaning and wetting them. The carpets have never looked better as well. Very smart robot!
